What is Legong Dance Bali  ...?

Legong Dance is the art of classical Balinese dance was originally developed in Peliatan Village, the famous art village of Ubud, Gianyar regency which was originally staged to entertain the king and his family.
Legong is a classical dance of Bali which has a very complex motion that is bound by the sound of percussion accompaniment that is the influence of Gambuh. Originally Legong word comes from the word "leg" which means the supple and flexible then interpreted as graceful movement. While the word "gong" which means the gamelan, which merged to become the "Legong" which means that movement is bound or affected by the accompanying gamelan .

Where is Rambut Siwi Temple ?

Pura Rambut Siwi closely associated with Ida Rauh Wawu Sakti (Danghyang Dwijendra) Rambut Siwi  Dangkhayangan Temple is located in Mendoyo is the largest temple in Jembrana with nine Pura including two major temples.
Pura Luhur Purana mentions Rambut Siwi origin of this temple Rambut Siwi starts after Danghyang Dwijendra arrived in Bali during the reign of King Sri Dalem Waturenggong around 1411  implement darmayatra  in village of Mas Gianyar and Gelgel villages in Klungkung.Danghyang Dwijendra matirtayatra towards the west with the aim of Jimbarwana now Jembrana. Where is the village of Kamasan?


Location Kamasan village located approximately 43 kilometers east of Kuta.Kamasan village is a village in Klungkung regency, just 2 kilometers from Semarapura city, the capital of Klungkung Regency. Kamasan village is easily accessible by various transport vehicles. Road toward the Kamasan village is in good condition. From Kuta we went to Denpasar via road by pass I Gusti Ngurah Rai, until the road toward the direction of Klungkung. At the intersection of Watu klotok, turn left, then you will get to the village Gelgel. From this Gelgel village, we only live within several hundred yards toward the Kamasan village  .

Kamasan village is a village with traditional puppet artist community. Where fellow artists with other artists to collaborate with each other and reinforce each other so as to bear the traditional wayang style of painting is typical. Kamasan villlage painting style was later joined in the history of Balinese painting coloring.
