What It's ..OGOH OGOH ??? .


Ogoh ogoh is a Balinese Hindu community artwork that resembles a giant puppet tangible or Bhutakala fearsome giant, which also characterizes the Balinese Hindus welcome the New Year in Hindu Dharma teachings Saka.Dalam Bhuta Kala represents strength (Bhu) universe and time (Kala) is not measurable, absolute.
Ogoh ogoh made before the day of Nyepi (Penyepen) and will be in the procession or parade accompanied by a noisy gang of percussion beleganjur when (pengerupukan) the day before Nyepi. Ogoh-Ogoh paraded around the village streets to drive out the influence of evil spirits that exist within ourselves and our surroundings.

It symbolizes the power of human beings , Universe and Time is most fierce. The power includes power Bhuana Great (universe) and Bhuana Alit (human beings). In view Tattwa (philosophy), this power can deliver sentient beings, especially human beings and the whole world to happiness or destruction. All this depends on the noble intentions of man, as God's most noble creatures in the care of herself and the rest of the the world .
Apart form of Giant(Rakshasa), Ogoh-ogoh are often depicted in the form of creatures that live in World, Heaven and Hell, such as dragons, eagle, fairies or God/Goddes,even prominent contemporary figures. Even parade ogoh ogoh contested as spectacle / entertainment for foreign tourists and domestic tourists
